This photograph was actually taken out of frustration. I originally had drive close to an hour to visit the Snow Geese that were supposed to be feeding at the Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area. When I arrived, this is what I saw.
I did run into a nice foreign couple that were from Germany I believe who also had traveled from where they were staying to see the snow geese. It was late so I figured I’d walk on the hiking trails instead to see if I could find something…anytime. I found a birdhouse and also a Bald Eagle.
I really liked how this photo of the birdhouse turned out though. I like how the thorns have grown up around the birdhouse itself. It left like the residents have left for the winter, along with the snow geese, and are off to a warmer place for the cold months. The trip turned out to not be a bust to me simply because of this photo that I was able to capture.
