This to date is one of my favorite photographs that I have taken. This was taken while I was out hiking at Blue Marsh Lake looking for a hunting spot for the upcoming deer rifle season. I decided to turn around for some reason and instantly I knew I had to capture what I was seeing. I’ve been on this land several times at all hours of the day and I never saw it before where the fog was in the valley and hadn’t lifted yet so you could see land, fog, and then the mountains off in the distance. I ended up not finding any deer signs at this location so the hike was a bust from that perspective but at least I was able to capture this great photograph.
