As an active OpenStreetMap contributor, I focus on mapping bicycle infrastructure and urban features across the DC and NYC metro areas. I presented my work at the State of the Map US 2025 conference in Boston and served on the program committee helping shape this year's event.

View ContributionsThrough Bethesda Green's Leadership Academy, I developed a plan for full-scale cafeteria composting at my high school. I outlined the project budget, met with the principal and school budget committee, and consulted with Compost Crew (founded by Whitman alumni) to select them as the collection service. I designed diagrams mapping bin placement throughout the building and planned a waste audit to establish baseline metrics. I passed the project to the following cohort to carry forward into implementation.
